Carrier Bags

As a valued customer, we want you to be one of the first to know about our new plans for bags.

Jute bags We try to care about the environmental impact of our business and it is always a worry to know what to do about bags, which can cause such problems when thrown away.

Therefore, from January 2011, we will be introducing the "Church Street Stores" jute bag, which will be available to purchase in store. This will be ideal for you to load with all your purchases, and to use again and again.

In addition, we will start to charge 5p per plastic carrier bag. For every plastic bag we sell we will donate 2p to the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, which is our chosen charity.

Of course, you are always welcome to use your own bags.

We trust that you will all support our decisions regarding this matter and that you look forward to purchasing your jute bag in January!
